Note from Marlene Plumley, Anne Arundel Dive Services owner:
Thank you for your loyal and continued support. I truly enjoy serving the sailboat racing community. Diving your racing sailboat is an insurance policy that your boat will be clean and fast every race morning.
For your and my convenience, I'm introducing new cleaning and billing practices. My goal is to simplify scheduling, billing and accounts receivable into a more streamlined process while improving the viability and sustainability of my business.
Starting January 1, 2019, my services will be charged per event. Pricing structure will be based on scheduled regatta days in the Notice of Race. With enough interest, I am happy to accommodated practice days. The price per day remains the same. The only change is the billing structure. Please reach out to me if you have questions or thoughts.
Please view AA Dive Services (AADS) policies below:
Organic materials (barnacles and gas film) are aggressive and your boat should be cleaned within 24 hours of launch and every 24 hours in the water. Experience dictates use of a white 3M scrubber in high salinity and microfiber in fresh water is appropriate to keep your hull clean and fast as long as the boat has sufficient wax and is cleaned within 24 hours. AADS shall not be held accountable for hard growth on boats in the water longer than 24 hours without cleaning. We will be happy to use a different cleaning material at your request. If you have a specific material or product you want us to use, please text Marlene at (443)949-4476. There may be additional costs for accommodating your request. Please understand more aggressive materials may have a detrimental effect to you hull's surface/finish. If you find issues with your hull when you haul out, please make us aware.
In an effort for AADS to be sustainable, we kindly request your invoice is paid before the preparatory signal of the first race. AADS gladly accepts cash, check, credit card, PayPal or Venmo.
